“Where do I start! The experience and locations were phenomenal, Sarah truly had a beautiful vision for our first pregnancy-maternity shoot. I am not a fan of taking photos but she made it very easy for my husband and me to feel comfortable. The photos are breathtaking, she sincerely has a unique eye!

In-Home Baby Session
Sarah was the perfect photographer for our son’s newborn photo shoot. She came to my home for the shoot and brought all of her equipment. We discussed photo ideas and props ahead of time, and she made great suggestions on photo ideas. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating in navigating baby’s sleep and feeding schedule, which I was so grateful for as a new mom. I was so impressed with her preparedness and attention to detail. The photos came out beautifully. I am thrilled to have these photos to document this time in my child’s life. I cannot wait to have her take toddler photos when my son gets older.

Grandparent Session
“I wanted “natural pictures” captured of my mother and her grandchildren. I contacted Sarah of SmHawkins Photography. I knew of her great talent in photography from seeing other projects. I wanted something different to staged poses in a studio that children tend to hate. I booked my first session with Sarah and boy am I happy I did. I absolutely loved not only the end product but the experience. Her bubbly personality and patience with children allowed for some magnificent photos. It was a huge challenge to coordinate pictures of four children under the age of 4! Sarah stood up to the challenge! The children enjoyed the session since she encouraged them to play. As the children enjoyed themselves, Sarah discretely took photos without intruding on their fun. The end result? Wonderful photos of natural smiles, great backgrounds, and memorable experience. I am so pleased with the end result and definitely recommend her for any photoshoot project. If I lived closer she would definitely be on speed dial. I look forward to working with her again in the near future.”
